When I discovered this tranquil landscape just outside of my hometown, West Chester, Pennsylvania, I knew that it would make a wonderful painting because it had that kind of interlude effect on me ... take a break... reflect awhile ...be still.
Those time-outs in life are important in helping us pause to reflect on God's incredible creation. As I studied
this mirror like image with its deep forest greens and rich rose tones, I knew that this place must have been a very special quiet retreat for others as well... perhaps it still is.
