David Armstrong

In David Armstrong's preface to the catalogue of the exhibition he shared with his friend, John Denver-who was also very much committed to the cause of conservation-David Armstrong wrote: "... over the years, I have developed an overwhelming concern for all the beauty the earth has lost and all that still can and must be preserved. I have tried to show through my work the peaceful bounty and beauty of the earth that is timeless, while also expressing my concern for its fragileness... if we wish to preserve that beauty we must learn to live in harmony with it."
